Early morning report from Ogbomoso, the land of the valiant said new Soun of Ogbomosoland has been installed. He is His Royal Majesty Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye.
Recall that this newspaper had exclusively reported less than 24 hours ago that an Oyo state High Court sitting in Ogbomoso and presided over by Justice K. A. Adedokun had granted an interim order restraining the Oyo state governor and 11 others from taking any further steps leading to installation of the former Soun-elect as the substantive monarch until a pending issues are resolved.
The court order came after the presiding Judge listened to motion of Ex-parte filed by counsel to the claimant Abiodun Ogunjimi who represented Prince Mohammed Kabiru Olaoye.
According to an Ogbomoso-based medium -ogbomoshoinsight, former Prince Ghandi was installed on Friday morning at Abata by the kingmakers led by the Areago High Chief Sobalaje Otolorin.
The new monarch who arrived the town in the early hours of Friday in a private chopper was proclaimed His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III.
It was gathered that some of the High Chiefs claimed ignorant of the injunction, as no correspondence was said to have been served to that effect.
