PRESS RELEASE
The Governing Council of Kwara State University at its 65th Regular meeting held on 15th and 16th May, 2023, approved the recommendation of the Appointments and Promotions Committee on the appointment of Engineer Nurudeen Bolaji Idrees as Deputy Director, Works.
Engineer Idrees holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering.
He joined the services of Kwara State University, Malete, as a Civil Engineer in the Works Department in the year 2009 and was until this promotion a Chief Engineer in charge of Civil and Building Unit.
He has served the institution in many capacities and currently represents the Congregation on the Governing Council of the University.
Engineer Idrees is a member of professional bodies including Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Member of Nigeria Society of Engineers (NNSE).
