Election: KWASU announces reopening date

Management of the Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has announced that the University would reopen on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
This is as the 2022/2023 Harmattan Semester examinations will commence on Monday, March 20, 2023.
Recall that the Institution had earlier announced the suspension of academic activities from Thursday February 23 to Tuesday March 14, 2023, in line with the directive of the National Universities Commission (NUC), to allow members of the University Community exercise their civic responsibilities in the 2023 General Election.
A University-wide circular today, signed by the Registrar, Dr Kikelomo Sallee, and made available to AWA CONTENT, stated: “This is to, however, inform you that the University will reopen on Wednesday March 15, 2023. Academic activities resume on the said date while the Harmattan semester examinations will commence on Monday, March 20, 2023.”
