The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRasaq AbdulRahman while casting his ballot today at his unit 006, Adewole ward, expressed confidence that the former Lagos State governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate in the ongoing presidential election will win in a landslide victory.
The governor after casting his ballot alongside his first lady Ambassador Afolake AbdulRahman said “this election is for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, you can see the turnout and everyone is voting APC all over the federation, so the next president will be Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu”.
He commended the efforts of the INEC officials with the introduction of the BVAS and said we are getting there, “people are voting peacefully and without stress”
When asked about the security situation of the state, he said “Security situation is good, as you can see, the security personnel are trying their best, they are on ground and everywhere is calm. The BVAS machines are working perfectly”, he added.
