The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Saturday urged Nigerians not to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, claiming that he would sell their birthright to the highest bidder and run off with the proceeds.
Tinubu made this claim while speaking during the Ondo state rally at Democracy Park, Akure, the state capital, describing the former Vice-President as a coward who doesn’t want to do the hard work required to build a better nation.
He said, “He doesn’t want to do the brave and hard work required to build a better nation. Instead, he would rather sell your birthright to the highest bidder and run off with the proceeds.
“He cares little that his policies and actions will impoverish you and leave you with nothing.”
The rally was attended by several politicians including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, Ondo state Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and the former Osun State governor, Gboyega Oyetola.
